Recruitment: Ibrahima GUEYE joins the PRCM as new Coordinator of the «Sea Turtles Survival» project

Mr. Ibrahima Gueye has become the Coordinator of the “Sea Turtles Survival” project since the 24 March 2020. A Senegalese national, Mr. Gueye is an agricultural engineer by trade, holds a diploma in environmental management, and completed post-graduate studies with specialisation in the adaptation of living organisms to droughts.

Mr. Gueye worked for the Institute of Research for Development (IRD) before joining the Centre for regional studies on the improved adaptation of plants to drought (CERAAS) in Senegal. He boasts over fifteen years of experience that he later acquired in the management of national parks and marine protected areas as the Chief Curator of Senegal national parks, Head of the Division of MPAs Research and Monitoring, and Head of the Wetlands Division at the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.
